The NS1 is built to function with the Iridium satellite network and is designed to operate in Short-Burst Data (SBD) mode only. The device is optimized for telemetry reading and other short message communications. This is the most compact of all COSCOMM's products. An optional GPS receiver makes this ideal for remote device tracking and monitoring.
The unit can be interfaced to any Data Terminal Equipment (DTE) capable of sending standard AT commands via a serial port.

The NS1 is best suited for:
1) Remote Sensor Monitoring;
2) Telemetry Monitoring;
3) Periodic Remote Device Monitoring applications.

The NS2 is a go-anywhere mobile satellite phone using the Iridium satellite network providing global voice and data coverage. The unit can be mounted to the dashboard or allowed to placed on a seat or in a console area. Hands free operation is available with its speakerphone capabilities and full SMS messages and voice mail round out its feature set. Data service is provided using a conventional TCP/IP connection via Iridium’s “Direct Internet 2.0” dial-up PPP application.

The NS2 is best suited for:
1) mobile voice to any public PSTN number in the world;
2) mobile Internet connection;
3) mobile data and remote interface to 3rd party applications; and
4) backup communications in case of disaster.

The NS3 is an in-vehicle voice and data solution that is designed for applications requiring full coverage communications with maximum interface flexibility. The NS3 is built to function with the Iridium satellite network and is designed to provide global voice and data coverage world-wide. An optional GPS receiver makes this ideal for use with AVL or other location based applications.
