COSCOMM’s SKYBOX products is designed to meet everyday or emergency use in the field. These products can be rapidly deployed in the field and provide a temporary or fixed base of operations. These units can also act as a mobile field command center that couple with similar units at centralized emergency and data center locations.
RDK1 solves the problem of simultaneous voice and data communication in areas lacking conventional infrastructure. RDK1 provides a grab and go solution with a full complement of communication and computing tools to support any emergency situation. RDK1 is built around the Iridium satellite network and is designed to provide global voice and data coverage. RDK1 can be interfaced to any Data Terminal Equipment) (DTE) capable of sending standard AT commands via a serial port.
The RDK1 is best suited for:1) rapid deployments requiring emergency communications;
2) mobile voice to any public PSTN number world-wide;
3) mobile Internet connections;
4) mobile data remote access to IT databases and other third party applications.
