NEWSKY is a comprehensive Radio over IP (RoIP) network architecture that enables interoperability between many different radio technologies. Some example protocols/technologies include: VHF, UHF, HF, conventional, digital, trunked, 700, 800, 900MHz, P25, 802.11, 802.16, GSM, CDMA, PSTN, satellite and more. The NEWSKY architecture can scale to fill the needs of a State- or region-wide system. This architecture is a qualified anti-terrorism technology under the DHS SAFETY act and is consistent with SAFECOM standards.
